Get started

Installation

VIfix is a regular desktop app. Install it like any other app, then sign in with your VIfix account.

Download and install#

  1. Download the installer

    Go to the download page and pick macOS (.dmg) or Windows (.exe).

  2. Install

    On macOS, open the .dmg and drag VIfix into Applications. On Windows, run the installer and follow the prompts.

  3. Open VIfix

    Launch the app from Applications or the Start menu. You'll land on the dashboard.

Sign in#

Click Sign in in the app. Your browser opens getvifix.com, where you can continue with Google, Apple, GitHub or an email link. Confirm the connection and the browser hands you back to the app.

  • A free account includes monthly scans. No credit card needed.
  • Only click Authorize VIfix if you just pressed Sign in in the app on this computer.

Updates#

VIfix checks for updates in the background. When a new version is ready, a banner appears at the top of the app. Click it to restart and install.
